ISTE Workshop on Computer Programming
Techno International New Town, Rajarhat , Newtown campus organized ISTE Workshop on Computer Programming from May 20th, 2014 to June 21st, 2014. This initiative was a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT which is supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Our college was chosen as one of the remote centers for hosting this workshop and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering took up the responsibility and executed it successfully .The objective of the workshop was to train the teachers with effective teaching methodology for Computer Programming using examples and highlighted the points that need to be stressed while teaching to students. The workshop lectures were delivered by Dr. Deepak Phatak , Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay and it was transmitted in distance education mode using the AVIEW technology through internet.
