ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF LIBRARY COMMITTEE:
- To construct sound rules and regulations of using the library.
- To frame library policies regarding documents selection, purchase of resources, circulation and fine rules, membership etc.
- To adopt measures regarding modernisation of library and reading room facilities.
- To formulate procedures for efficient utilization of library resources.
- To prepare a yearly budget and proposals to enhance the collection of the library.
- To discuss the measures to increase the use of resources.
- To enable a proper feedback system from users.
- To advise the librarian for overall development of the library.
The committee meets twice a year and special ad-hoc meetings may be arranged on demand of the situation.
