Functions and Responsibilities of Members :

At TINT the function and responsibilities of members are as follows:

1. To ensure provision of a work and educational environment that is free from sexual harassment
2. To take all reasonable steps (active and preventive in nature) to prevent the harassment.
3. To address any oral/written complaint about: unwelcome sexual advances, unsolicitedacts of physical intimacy, unwelcome requests for sexual favours or other unwelcome/uncomfortable conduct.
4. To provide information to all faculty, staff and students about what constitutes sexual harassment and about their responsibility not to sexually harass other staff and students. They will regularly provide the relevant information on sexual harassment to new staff as a standard part of induction.
5. To maintain the records of complaints regarding the sexual harassment
6. To review periodically the policy to ensure it is operating effectively and contains up to date information.
7. To display anti-sexual harassment posters on notice boards in common work areas and to distribute relevant brochures.
8. To organise workshops and awareness programmes at regular intervals for sensitizing employees on the issues and implications of workplace sexual harassment and organizing orientation programmes for members of the Internal Complaints Committee
