A Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advance Control Systems and Power Electronics (ACSPE 2K19)” was organized by the department of Electrical Engineering from 4th February 2019 to 8th February 2019. Eminent speakers from Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, IIEST Shibpur and industry person from M/s ABB Ltd were invited The FDP provided an excellent platform for an in-depth discussion and interaction on advanced control techniques along with the various controllers used in renewable energy power management to the faculties from the host as well as other neighboring colleges.
