Techno International New Town (formerly known as Techno India College of Technology) was established, with a vision to achieve national recognition as a premier technical institution, in 2005, and has since been providing quality education and research opportunities that fulfil the requirement of the industry, the academia, and the society.

  • Classrooms - The College provides avant-garde learning experience to the students through upgraded classrooms that enable teaching through modern tools and techniques. The spacious and airy classrooms facilitate a blend of traditional and modern modes of teaching with technological aids such as ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, roll-down screens, green boards and podium for faculty. Each of the core technical departments is housed in a separate floor spread across the sprawling five-storied building and an annexure building.
  • Laboratory Facilities - The core engineering departments are well organised with modern lab facilities that enable students to acquire hands-on experience with advanced tools of engineering. The institute boasts of such state-of-the-art laboratories, and two advanced language laboratories.
  • Seminar Rooms - Each department has a seminar room equipped with audio-visual aids and having a seating capacity of more than 50 heads; it is allocated for the purpose of projects presented by students, faculty seminars and expert talks that are often delivered by external resource persons, such as distinguished members of the industry and professors of eminence from institutes of national and international repute.
  • Library - The TINT Library is a fully Wi-Fi enabled unit with a large reading room. The library employs the latest technology in library sciences to provide the best learning to its users. Well-stocked and presently having a collection of over 48000 volumes on different subjects, latest publications in the fields of engineering and technology, communication, business, economics, humanities, and social sciences are continuously added to the collection to equip students with a wide range of reading. The Library subscribes to about 40 journals of national and international repute which present current trends in research.
  • Auditorium - Extensively used by the students for extra-curricular activities and for hosting functions of the College, the fully air-conditioned auditorium of the College has a seating capacity of about 500 people. It has audio-visual facilities, and excellent sound system that is managed by specially designated support staff. It is equipped with a large stage, comfortable seating, carpeting, wall paneling for acoustic effects, and a podium. 
  • Common Room and Gymnasium - The College has separate Common Rooms for the boys and the girls. Both the Common rooms have large areas for the students to engage in healthy extra-curricular activities and relax in the open, spacious environment. The Common Rooms have facilities for indoor games, like carom, table tennis and chess.

The College also has an open gymnasium, equipped with a fully functional multi-gym, where students may exercise and stay fit.

  • Basic Healthcare Facilities - The College has a basic health care unit to provide medical support in its campus to provide immediate medical assistance to students and staff members in need. The facilities include a visiting doctor who visits the campus thrice a week, and first-aid medicine.
  • Psychological Counsellor - The College understands the need for psychological care, especially for the students who pursue their studies while staying away from home and their parents. A professional counsellor visits the campus twice every week, and attends to the problems of the individual students who, being at a vulnerable stage in their late teens and early twenties, face emotional difficulties.
  • Free Internet Access Facility - The College has a fully wi-fi enabled campus, so as to provide the students and faculty members access to necessary information anywhere on the campus through their laptops and/or their smart phones.
  • Canteen - The College Canteen is a popular meeting place for students.  It serves a variety of eatables at moderate prices, ranging from breakfast to lunch and evening snacks.

 

Apart from the infrastructural facilities the college has other Utility Services like:

  • Photocopier Outlet - The College has a separate outlet within the main building for photocopying and printing purposes. It is manned by a staff dedicated for this purpose only, and remains open throughout the working hours. Students may avail the facility at a nominal rate.
  • Parking - The College has ample parking space separately designated to accommodate the cars and bikes of both the faculty members and students.
  • Eco-friendly Initiatives - A completely smoke-free zone, the College provides an eco-friendly environment to its students with large vistas of greenery, open gardens and fields, the latest initiatives of solar heating, rainwater harvesting, paper recycling and other green initiatives in the pipeline.
  • Vigilance and Security - The College has taken measures to address the need for vigilance and security. The campus is CCTV-enabled to cater to the safety requirements of a well-endowed and well-equipped campus receiving a huge footfall.
  • Activity Clubs - The students in the College are facilitated with an ambience of all-round development through various activities, like music, photography, painting, quiz, films, and other creative endeavours. The Music Club, Tech Club, Photography Club and the Quiz Club of the College have enthusiastic students and faculty members who organise various competitions and exhibitions round the year in order to promote a holistic learning experience.
  • Fests and Exhibitions - Technical fests and cultural fests as well as exhibitions of technical projects are regularly organized in the College by the students with guidance and support from the faculty members. This creates an atmosphere conducive to competitive spirit in the students, and also stimulates their team-working skills and organizing capabilities. The Institute takes care to develop the overall personality of the students.
  • Social Awareness Campaigns - The College regularly organises social awareness campaigns on self-defence, drug abuse, tree plantation, blood donation, slum development, and concentration techniques. These camps ensure that the students remain socially aware and develop moral responsibilities of a good citizen.
  • Training & Placement - The College has an avtive and organised Placement Cell, which looks after the technical training of the students beyond the University curriculum. These training sessions are designed with the aim to bridge the industry-academia gap, and are often outsourced to reputed trainers who work in collaboration with the industry.
  • Collaboration with Foreign Universities - In order to provide the students with advanced knowledge exchange programmes and exposure to international education facilities, the Institute works in collaboration with a number of reputed foreign universities. MOUs have been signed and exchange programmes are in progress which offer excellent learning exposure and research opportunities to the students.
