Techno India College of Technology organized an Orientation Programme on 3rd August 2015 at Rabindra Tirtha auditorium to usher in the new batch of students (B.Tech, BBA & BCA) to the Institute. Inspite of the inclement weather, maximum number of students attended the Programme with remarkable enthusiasm. Initially students were greeted by the faculty members of the Basic Science & Humanities in their respective classrooms. The members of faculty & staff of the various Departments interacted with the students about the Curriculum, Laboratory Practicals and other general issues of concern.

The students were then escorted to the auditorium by the faculty members in College buses. The Programme commenced at 11 a.m. with the Welcome address by the Revered Director, Prof. N.K. Singh. The Director emphasized on the importance of diligence and discipline in the life of students. Thereafter the students were greeted by the Hon’ble Principal, Prof. S.Sil who among other things talked about the necessity of creative and out of the box thinking in today’s professional world. Then the Respected Registrar, Ms. S. Pyne heartily welcomed the students and made them aware of the rules and regulations of the College. She also advised them to maintain a tuneful balance between technical knowledge and inculcation of a strong value system in one’s personality. The Heads of the different Departments then introduced themselves to the students and gave them a warm welcome to the Institute. The entire Programme was successfully compered by a faculty member of English Language from BSH department. The event ended with a vote of thanks by the compeer. The students dispersed from the venue after the Programme concluded at 1.30p.m.

The Programme was a great success due to the support of the College administration and the hard work put in by the members of the faculty and staff of the Institute.
