Mr Damien Syed, the French Consul General and Mr Stephane Amalir, the Director of Alliance Francaise visited the Institute on 6th June 2016 to improve the liasion with the French Consulate.  The distinguished guests were rendered a very warm welcome by Mr Anirban Mukherjee, Vice-President (Operations), Mr Santanu Roy, Chief Advisor to the Hon’ble Managing Director, Dr Sarup Prasad Ghosh, the Registrar and Dr Summauli Pyne, the Assistant Registrar of TICT.  Mr Syed and Mr Amalir also interacted with the respected heads of the various departments, the mentors and the students of the Institute.  Mr Amitava Das, the representative of the French Campus showes a presentation in the Langugae Laboratory to make the students and the faculty members aware of the various scholarship schemes and the different French Institutes where they can pursue higher studies.  They also spoke about the faculty exchange programme which was likely to materialise in the near future.
