Wind power is one of the fastest-growing renewable energy technologies. Usage is on the rise world wide, in part because costs are falling. Global installed wind-generation capacity on shore and offshore has increased by a factor of almost 75 in the past two decades. In this context, department of Electrical Engineering has completed a webinar for students. This webinar has provide the prospect of wind energy in India and scope of Electrical Engineering in the field. Students learnt about working principals of wind converter, yesterday’s technology and today’s technology and future technology. More lessons focused on prospect of Wind Power in India and scope of Electrical Engineer in wind Energy. In view of this an expert talk was organized by the department of electrical engineering on 04th August 2021 from 04:00 am to 06:00pm. The topic was “Webinar on Prospect of Wind Energy in India and Scope of Electrical Engineer in the Field” in the department of Electrical Engineering”. It was attended by the students and faculty members of the department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering .
