RABINDRAJAYANTI 2022
On 9th May, 2022 “Rabindrajayanti” was organised by Techno International New Town(TINT) in collaboration with Sister Nivedita University(SNU). Hridmajhare- The Club of Performing Arts of Techno International New Town played a key role in organizing the event which was celebrated in Arts Acre Campus. The event began with the opening song “Akhash jure shuninu oi bajey,” sung by faculty members and students of the college. Shri Satyam Roychowdhury, Hon’ble MD Techno India Group, Dr. R T Goswami, Director, TINT, Prof.( Dr) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay,Vice Chancellor SNU and Sri Subhaprasanna Bhattacharjee illuminated the event with their gracious presence. They paid a floral tribute to Rabindranath Tagore. They also shared their valuable insights with the audience on this auspicious occasion. The audience was captivated by the recitation performance on “Nayak Rabi” presented by Shri Satyam Roychowdhury along with Prof.( Dr) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay. The audience was also spellbound when they witnessed a dance performance on “Madhurodhwanibaje” by the students of the college. The highlight of the event was “Abhisar”- a recitation which was performed by Ms. Soma Chatterjee Ghosh and along with it a dance performance by Dr. Kashmi Mondal (dance) and SouryaBhattachrjee (AEIE-1st year) (guitar). After that the song “Amar mukti” was sang by SouryaBhattachrjee (student, AEIE-1st year), then a dance performance followed on the recitation “Krishnakoli” performed by Dr. Sanjoy Das Neogi, HOD, Civil Engineering Department and Anwesha Bhattacharjee (student, AEIE,3rd year). The song “ Amaroporano” performed by students and the dance performances by Bidisha Dey(BCA-2nd year), RajashreeMasid(ECE-4th year) and Sriparna Pandey(AEIE -3rd year) raised the bar of the event. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the song “Dekhechirupsagore” which was performed by PrajuktaModak(CSE-1st year),Swarnadeepa Ghosh(Cse 3rd year) and on instruments SouryaBhattachrjee (AEIE-1st year), The last act of the event Shruti-natto on “Atithi” was done by Smritilata Sarkar (ECE 1styear), Soumyajit Bhoumik (ECE 1st year), SubhasreeSaha (ECE 1styear), Ankita Khasnobish (ECE 1st year), Puja Mondol (IT 1st year), BasudhaLahiri (ECE 2nd year), Avik Paul (CSE 2nd year), Soumyajit Pal (CSE 3rd year). Towards the end of this beautiful programme all performers who were present in the auditorium sang “ Pranovorie” to conclude the event.
