Techno International Newtown,Kolkata,23rd December,2021: In Techno International Newtown(TINT) , the Christmas carnival was arranged 23rd December of this year . This carnival was organized with collaboration of Sister Nivedita University(SNU). The carnival was held at the ground of our college, which we called ‘Muktamancha’, was decorated so beautifully with Christmas tree ,lights, lamps and colourful lanterns . The program was started by lighting the lamp . After that , director of TINT Dr.R T goswami and honourable chancellor Shri Pradyut Goswami gave a small speech. There was a sudden outburst of excitement when the cultural activity was started . The cultural activity was started with a beautiful song ‘Aji subhodine’ performed by by Swarnadeepa Ghosh- CSE 3rd year ,Soumyajit Pal – CSE 3rd year ,Sridip Dey- EE 1st year ,Samontak Ghosh- BBA 1st year ,Supratim Bose – AEIE 3rd year ,Swapnendu Dey- EE 2nd year ,Arijit Mitra- ME 3rd year ,Sayan Das- ME 3rd year ,Ritaban Chandra- CSE 3rd year ,Mainak Banerjee- ECE 3rd year ,Anupriya Pal -ECE 3rd year , Deepro Chakraborty- ECE 3rd year ,Saptarshri Mallik -CSE 2nd year. After that a graceful dance performance was done by the HOD of Civil Department Sanjoy Das Neogi, accompanied by , Anwesha Bhattachaejee- AEIE 3rd year, Hridini Dutta- BBA 3rd year, Subhasree Biswas – CSE 3rd year , Abhisikta Sengupta - civil 4th year and Prakita Mali- ECE 4th year . A nativity and miming performance, regrading the birth of Jesus Christ was performed by by Ankita Bose- CSE 4th year(Narration) , Basudha Lahiri – ECE 2nd year(Narration), Sayan Das – ME 4th year(Synthesizer). There was three beautiful medley was performed by students , ‘Believers-let me down’ was performed by Swapnendu Dey- 2nd year EE ,Soham Deb Majumder- 2nd year CSE ,Mon Dasgupta- 2nd year CSE,Saptarshri Mallik- 2nd year CSE,Preetam Bhattacharya- 2nd year CSE,Supratim Bose- 3rd year AEIE and Sridip Dey -1st year EE, ‘Mokor porobe ’ performed by by Swarnadeepa Ghosh – CSE 3rd year , Sayan Das – ME 3rd year , Kunal Goswami – 2nd year BBA, Samontak agahosh – 1st year BBA, Swarnava Ghosh – AEIE 4th year, Supritam Bose – AEIE 3rd year and Swarnak Mukharjee- ME 2nd year, ‘A Hundred Miles’ performed by Arijit Mitra-ME 3rd year Debarna Datta- ECE 3rd year, RITABAN CHANDA- CSE 3rd year, Subham Vishwakarma- CSE 3rd year, Deepro Chakraborty- ECE 3rd year, Mainak Banerjee- ECE 3rd year, Anupriya Pal- ECE 3rd year, Swarnak Mukharjee -ME 2nd year and Samontak Ghosh -BBA 1st year. While everything was going on , Mr. Shantanu Roy, played the role of a Santa Clause, and was giving chocolates to everyone to bring the feeling of Christmas. After everything Mr. Shantanu Roy was called on the stage and he thanked to everyone , including the MD of Techno group, chancellor , vice chancellor, register of the college and all the students for whom the event was a success.
