On 8th April, 2022 Basanta Utsav (Hey Nutan. Ronge Ronge Borsho Baran) was celebrated on TINT Muktangan, ground by Hridmajhare- Performing Arts Club, TINT. On this auspicious occasion, Dr. R.T.Goswami, Director, Techno International New Town(TINT) addressed the audience with a motivational speech. The lighting of the lamp ceremony was followed by a group song where students of our college paid homage to the legends ( Late Lata Mangeshkar, Late Sondha Mukhopadhyay, Late Bapi Lahiri). The mesmerizing dance performance on the song “Murali ke dhun” captivated the audience. Sayan Ghosh from Mechanical Department performed an instrumental act which was highly appreciated by the crowd. Finally the performance on Rabidranath Tagore’s “Chitrangada” was considered to be the most charming segment of the entire programme. A group of students and teachers performed this famous dance drama. The melodious performance on the folk song “Assam jabo and Boishaker Bikelbalay” by the students again grabbed the attention of the listeners. The event came to an end with the final performance by Swarnadeepa Ghosh(CSE,3 rd yr) on the lovely song “Rang Barse…” All the faculties, staff members and students thoroughly enjoyed the event.
