National Engineer’s Day was celebrated on 15th September, 2022 by IEI Student’s Chapter in the department of Electrical engineering. In order to commemorate the great achievements of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an expert talk was organized from 2:30 pm onwards within the college premises. The speaker for the event was Prof. (Dr.) Debasish Chatterjee from the department of Electrical Engineering, Jadavpur University. His topic of discussion was “Wind Power Generation Technique: The Modern Trend”. The expert talk was attended by the students of the second and third year electrical engineering students.

The program began with a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) R. T. Goswami, Director of Techno International New Town. This was followed by a speech of the head of the Electrical Engineering department, Prof. (Dr.) Milan Basu. The newsletter of the department, “TECHNOELECTRA”, was also unveiled by the respected dignitaries. Finally, the program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dipanwita Ganguly.
