Students are hereby invited to participate in the COVID Defence and Active Mitigation Challenge (COVIDAM), which is an online technical ideation competition with a focus on strategy and prototype development proposals to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition will be conducted under the aegis of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in conjunction with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, of Techno International New Town.

Proposal Format

Individual students are initially asked to submit a PowerPoint Presentation and brief proposal (in MSWORD or PDF format) containing the following sections:

     A.Brief abstract outlining the idea
     B.Proposed prototype, model or algorithm
     C.Impact analysis (predictive) on usage of the prototype, model or algorithm
     D.Cost of the proposed system
     E.Advantages and disadvantages (expected issues) linked to probable implementation of the idea and any possible remedies
       

Important Dates

Proposal and presentation submission will start from 16^th April, 2020 and continue up to 25^th April, 2020.

Proposed date for final presentation of the shortlisted proposals through online platform is 30^th April, 2020.
