About Techno International New Town

Techno International New Town (formerly Techno India College of Technology) is one of the youngest colleges of the Techno India Group. It started its journey in the year of 2005.The college is the logical development and the rational conclusion of the mission and the vision of the Techno India Group which is one of the largest knowledge management groups in India.
The academic community finds inspiration from India’s ancient past where education was closely associated with the man-making mission. We believe that education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. About Prabuddha

Techno International New Town, Kolkata is going to organize “Prabuddha”-Tech Fest on February 27th Feb to 1st Mar, 2025, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We invite your active participation in this Tech Fest by exploring emerging technologies and solving real-world challenges. It aims to foster learning, networking, and collaboration, driving the future of technology forward providing a platform for tech enthusiasts. The primary goal of the Tech Fest is to encourage innovation, creativity and knowledge-sharing to empower future tech leaders and to showcase the advancements in AI, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.

Guideline for Tech Fest Participants

  1. Register within the deadline using the provided link.
  2. All undergraduate students are eligible to participate in different competition.
  3. No participants are allowed to take part in two parallel competitions.
  4. Keep a copy of your registration confirmation and ID card in time of physical verification on the day of events.
  5. Carry a laptop, charger, USB drives, and necessary equipment.
  6. Arrive at the venue on time and follow the schedule.
  7. Follow ethical practices—no plagiarism or rule violations.
  8. Cooperate with event coordinators and adhere to instructions.
  9. Maintain professional behaviour with judges, organizers, and other participants.
  10. Stick to the given time limits for the events.
  11. Follow all safety protocols, especially in hardware-related events.
  12. Respect the venue rules and avoid damaging property.
  13. Avoid disruptive behaviour or misconduct during the fest.
  14. provide us the mandatory feedback to improve future tech fests.
  15. Registration fee for each event is INR 100 (except creative canvas and science day celebration).

Coding Competition Join us for an exciting offline coding competition where programmers will "cook" their solutions to solve problems and showcase their skills. Participants must solve 2-3 problems with hidden test cases within 3 hours, and only individual participation is allowed.
Prabuddha Campus Solution Challenge Are you a student developer passionate about making changes? Participate in the Prabuddha Campus Solution Challenge and address real-campus challenges. This is your chance to innovate and develop impactful solutions that enhance your campus life. Let's collaborate to build a equitable and inclusive future for everyone!
Scrap-2-Design Get ready to unleash your creativity at Scrap-2-Design, a key event of the Tech Fest. Developing something new from the scrap is all about innovation, sustainability, and creativity i.e. transforming the discarded or unused materials to form something valuable and useful commodities, whether it's a product, technology, or even an idea. This concept is linked to industrial ideology where recycling, upcycling and engineering have already been engaged in this way. Categories:
1. Scrap to Structure Design – Transform scrap into sturdy and aesthetic structures.
2. Scrap to Mechanical Tools/Product – Develop functional mechanical tools or products from discarded materials.
3. Scrap to Electrical/Electronic Gadgets – Innovate and create working electrical or electronic devices using scrap components. The college will provide all scrap materials. Participants are required to carry their necessary tools only. Awards will be presented in each of the three categories.
RoBo Challenge The object is to construct a robot that will have movement in terms of change position or relocate having weight carrying ability and also capable of sensing heat/light/smoke. It should have skill of solving real life problems like controlling fire and making awareness. Competition Overview:
- Theme: Will be disclosed on the event day.
- Challenge: Participants will be required to design and develop a fully functional Robot that addresses the theme.
- **every participants should assemble and program accordingly while carrying the extension board, adapter or battery , Laptop along with them.
Dev your Web The world of web development is rapidly evolving, and the demand for skilled developers is on the rise. To foster innovation, creativity, and excellence in web development, we are excited to announce the Web development competition. This competition is open to all students of all levels, and aims to provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills, learn from others, and push the boundaries of what is possible on the web. Competition Overview:
- Theme: Will be disclosed on the event day.
- Challenge: Participants will be required to design and develop a fully or partially functional website or web application that addresses the theme.
- Platforms: Participants can choose to develop their project using any web development framework, library, or tool, including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, etc.
- Judging Criteria:
