Entrepreneurial Development Cell an initiative of Techno India College of Technology was formed with a view to initiate and promotes young entrepreneurs so that it can enable them to become the future faces of entrepreneurs. In this regard, Techno India College of Technology has formed an EDC which works in close collaboration with Techno India Foundation. EDC came into existence with a vision to provide students with a flavor of the needs of the society of being an Entrepreneur. This seminar aims at providing exposure to the students to put their ideas to work and build their own work of art with passion. It provides the aspiring candidates to come up new concepts and ideas which shall help them be a successful entrepreneur.
On 8thSeptember’2017, Techno India College of Technology hosted a seminar on ‘Social Entrepreneurship: A Call towards changing the Society’ with three esteemed guest speaker, Mr Tarun Kumar Debnath, an alumnus of IIT, Kharagpur with his entrepreneur venture ‘Spade’ spoke about the various aspect of being an entrepreneur and the importance of Social Entrepreneurship. Sanjay Guha Thakurata walked the students through his mere death experience as an IT professional to an entrepreneur for promoting the very own culture and art of Bengal through his venture Rangamati. From his various achievements to his rejections, he summarized his journey of 6 years. Last speaker Ms Ankita Naskar, the owner of Naskar Enterprise, enlightened the students with her business venture which involved 66 handicapped artisans, 32 female and rest male. Ankita’s initiative was for the crafts man who are deprived of their rights and fare share of wealth.
