Short biography:

Prof. Rajive Kumar is a Ph.D from IIT, Delhi, M Sc and M Phil from Roorkee University (Now IIT Roorkee). After completing PhD, he joined C R State College of Engineering, Haryana as Lecturer. During service, he completed his M.E in Computer Technology and Application from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi in 2003. He possesses more than 25 years of research experience in the field of Mathematical Computing, Software Engineering and Image Processing. He has published a number of research papers in national and international Journals and presented them in India and abroad.

Presently, He is a Member Secretary, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (a statutory body of Govt. of India) since September, 2019. He joined AICTE, New Delhi, Govt. of India as Adviser-I & CVO in 2016 (on deputation). As Head of Policy & Academic Planning bureau, he studied the recommendations of Kaw committee, constituted by Ministry of Education to suggest reforms in AICTE and extracted the major recommendations out of it in 2017.

Prof. Rajive has been actively involved for promoting innovation and the world’s largest Hackathon, Smart India Hackathon, is being organized regularly for the last several years. To mentor the students, Institute Innovation Councils (IICs) have been established in almost all the institutions of the country. The winners of Hackathon are funded and connected with incubators for taking the idea forward. Idea Labs have been established in 100 colleges with the support of Industry and AICTE. A large number of Edtech companies are providing customized AI based Ed-tech solutions to the students under National Educational Alliance for Technology(NEAT).

Prior to joining AICTE, Prof Rajive Kumar was the Dean, Faculty of Information Technology & Computer Science, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal (DCRUST). He worked as the Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Controller of Finance, Coordinator Academic Branch, Coordinator Library, Co-chairman online counseling at DCRUST, Murthal. He has also worked as Member of various curriculum preparation committees, member Academic Councils, and member of University Courts.

Prof. Rajive Kumar is an ardent human being, having national and international experience of 32+ years with a vision of clear policy making and fruitful decisions, carving strategies aiding to better education and learning outcomes for the future generations.

Short biography:

Milan Tuba, Professor of Computer Science, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Project at Singidunum University and Vice-Rector of Research at Sinergija University, is included in both versions of the Stanford University list of 2% of the most influential scientists in the world in all disciplines, one for contribution during the entire career and other for contribution in the previous year (for years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023). Prof. Tuba is the highest ranked Computer Science researcher in Serbia according to the AD Scientific Index. He was Vice Rector for International Relations at Singidunum University, Head of the Department for Mathematical Sciences at State University of Novi Pazar and Dean of the Graduate School of Computer Science at John Naisbitt University. Prof. Tuba is the author or coauthor of around 300 scientific papers (cited around 7,000 times, h-index 49) and editor, coeditor or member of the editorial board or scientific committee of number of scientific journals, Springer books, congresses and international conferences. He was invited and delivered more than 100 keynote and inaugural lectures at international conferences. Senior Member IEEE, ACM, AMS, SIAM, IFNA, Executive Board of IASEI.

He received B. S. in Mathematics, M. S. in Mathematics, M. S. in Computer Science, M. Ph. in Computer Science, Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Belgrade and New York University. From 1983 to 1994 he was in the U.S.A. at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University and later as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Cooper Union School of Engineering, New York. During that time, he was the founder and director of Microprocessor Lab and VLSI Lab, leader of the NSF scientific projects and theses supervisor. He was the mentor of dozens of doctoral and master's dissertations at the Faculty of Mathematics University of Belgrade, Singidunum University, University of Sarajevo, State University of Novi Pazar, John Nesbitt University and University of East Sarajevo. He was teaching more than 20 graduate and undergraduate courses, from VLSI Design and Computer Architecture to Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Calculus, Probability, Mathematical Statistics and Queuing Theory at numerous universities in Europe and the USA. Prof. Tuba is a member of the National Agency for Accreditation of Universities of the Republic of Serbia. His research interest includes Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Nature-inspired Optimization Algorithms, Image Processing, Computer Networks.

Short biography:

Prof. Mohammad Shorif Uddin earned his Doctor of Engineering (Ph.D.) from Kyoto Institute of Technology in 2002, Japan, Master of Technology Education from Shiga University, Japan in 1999, Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1991 and MBA from Jahangirnagar University in 2013. His academic journey began in 1991 as a Lecturer at the Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Chittagong (Currently named Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology). In 1992, he joined the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Jahangirnagar University and at present, he is a full-time Professor in this department. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions, including serving as the Chairman of the Computer Science and Engineering Department and as the Teacher-in-Charge of the ICT Cell at Jahangirnagar University. He has an extensive international research background, having undertaken postdoctoral research at several renowned institutions, including the Bioinformatics Institute in Singapore, Toyota Technological Institute in Japan, Kyoto Institute of Technology in Japan, Chiba University in Japan, Saitama University, Japan, Bonn University in Germany, and the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. His professional and research interests encompass a wide range of areas, including computer vision, image security, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. He has a prolific publication record, with over 200 research papers published in prestigious venues such as Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, ACM, Wiley, Oxford University Press, SPIE, and Optica. Additionally, he holds two patents for his innovative scientific work and has edited numerous books and authored several book chapters, published by Springer and Elsevier. He delivered many keynote speeches and invited talks at international conferences. He also played pivotal roles as a General Chair, TPC Chair, or Co-Chair in various international conferences. His outstanding contributions have earned him accolades such as the Best Paper award at ICIEV2013 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the Best Presenter Award at ICCVG 2004 in Warsaw, Poland. Notably, in 2004, he gained worldwide recognition from prominent news and television media outlets, including CNN, BBC, Reuters, New York Times, Japan Times, and Associate Press, for his groundbreaking invention of a blind navigational aid called the 'Electronic Eye.' Furthermore, he mentored and coached Janhangirnagar University ACM ICPC World Finals Teams in 2015 and 2017, and supervised numerous doctoral and Master's theses. Recently, he joined as the Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh. He is honored as a Fellow of IEB and BCS, a Senior Member of IEEE, and serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Access.

Prof.Bimal Kumar Roy obtained B.Stat. and M.Stat. degrees from Indian Statistical institute, kolkata followed by Ph.d from University of Waterloo, Canada. Served as a professor at Indian statistical Institute, Kolkata till March, 2024. He was chairman, National Statistical Commission during 2019 - 2022. Research expertise in the domain of Cryptography, Security, Data Analytics and Statistics. He received Padma Shri awards in 2015.
